Global Stock Markets React Ahead of Fed and Trump’s Inauguration

European stocks fell on Thursday with attention moving to the looming policy decision of the US Federal Reserve.

Investors now anticipate the US’ interest rate strategy ahead of the inauguration of President-elect, Donald Trump.

The strategy is expected to see officials lower borrowing costs once more.

Japan and Britain are also expected to make their announcements.

Wall Street ended on a positive note, with tech giants experiencing a rise.

The same could not be said of the Asia market as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, Manila, Mumbai, Bangkok, and Jakarta fell.
