Football: Nigerian international signs for PSG
Nigerian international Ngozi Ebere has penned a two-year deal with French football superpower Paris Saint-Germain.
The French club announced the signing of the 24-year old, Monday, WomenSoccerUnited reports.
Ebere recently represented Nigeria at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 in Canada in which the African nation earned 1 point from a very tough Group D.
Ngozi joins PSG from Rivers Angels F.C. after choosing Paris as her first experience of playing abroad.
Ngozi Ebere commented on her new contract on the official PSG website (translated by Google): “I am here to give the best of myself and to win trophies.
“I am very motivated by this new challenge that awaits me here in Paris. It’s a dream come true. ”
Farid Benstiti, PSG head coach, welcomed the arrival (translated by Google): “Ebere is a Nigerian who plays left-back. It will be the complement of Laure Boulleau, which was much in demand during recent seasons.
