Five suspected oil thieves die in pipeline explosion in Bayelsa
Five suspected oil thieves met their untimely deaths following an unsuccessful attempt to vandalise a pipeline in Bayelsa which led to an explosion.
The incident occurred at a gas pipeline belonging to the Nigerian Agip Oil Company linking Azagbene and other communities.
The deceased were said to have attempted to destroy the pipeline using dynamites when nemesis caught up with them.
Two of the vandals were roasted to death while three others were burnt beyond recognition.
