FIFA World Rankings: Nigeria, 5th Best Placed African Nation

Super Eagles of Nigeria

Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has released its November world rankings, which see African football giants Nigeria fall several places.

The rankings were released by the governing body via their official website on Friday.

The Super Eagles, as the Nigerian nation team is known as, have fallen from their previous 36th place in the world to 44th position now.

The rankings sees Morocco as the highest ranked African nation in 14th spot in the world.

They are followed by Senegal, Egypt and Algeria in 17th, 33rd and 37th position respectively.

Other African nations like Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia and the Republic of South Africa rank behind Nigeria in 46th, 49th, 51st, 52nd and 57th respectively.

Copa America Winners, Argentina, remain the highest ranked nation in the World.

Football giants such as France, Spain, England, Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Germany occupy the rest of the top 10 list accordingly.
