The Federal Government has begun investigation into the cause of the chopper crash involving Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday.
Osinbajo was on his way to Kabba, Kogi State from Abuja when the chopper crash landed.
Neusroom can confirm that 12 persons – including the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Prof. Stephen Ocheni – were aboard the chopper when the incident occurred.
Other passengers were senior presidential aides, security officials and the crew.
The VP’s office said all passengers escaped from the crash unscathed.
“As is procedural, a full investigation into the causes of the incident would be conducted by aviation authorities,” Osinbajo’s media team said.
