“Femi Adeshina tweets like a common blogger,” Nigerians poke fun at Buhari’s media aide after “unprofessional” tweets

Femi Adeshina, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, is under fire for “tweeting like a common blogger.”
Adeshina posted a couple of tweets, Monday, to shed more light into his boss’ cabinet list.
Many criticise Buhari for giving Nigerians a cabinet of old men. EiENigeria said the average age of the nominees is 53.
There were other concerns. Adeshina took to Twitter to defend his boss, apparently.
Here are the five tweets…
#ministers Just be sure that the President is mindful of fair representation in the country and he will do what is needful.

President Buhari would respect the constitution. And the constitution says Ministers must be appointed from each state.

#ministers People who have been nominated are qualified and are Nigerians. Talking of age, there is a saying that "age does not matter".
— Femi Adesina (@FemAdesina) October 12, 2015
#Ministers We must rather talk of the mental age rather than the chronological age. It is not the chronological age that matters....
— Femi Adesina (@FemAdesina) October 12, 2015
President Buhari is not going to be designated as Minister but will supervise the Ministry...he has all it takes to supervise the ministry

Nigerians have turned the heat on Adeshina for “not even understanding what he’s talking about.”
They seem to have issues with some of the terms Adeshina used in the tweets.
“Mental age” is one of such terms. Adeshina seem to be saying the age of Buhari’s nominees means nothing.
Adeshina’s critics said the presidential media aide tweets like a “common blogger.”
Let’s look at their tweets…and what experts say.
Femi Adesina spews his Twitter tales just like Frank Donga come to real life.

Embarrassed by Femi Adesina's statement about the age of the ministerial nominees. He said age is just a number. He's dumb.

Of course, we don’t share the sentiments expressed by these tweeps. They’re on their own!
After reading some of the “insulting” tweets, a new media expert who doesn’t want to be named told Newsroom the following:
No doubt Femi Adeshina is as presidential as they come…but new media, and Twitter in particular, is a different ball game. This is why Buhari needs fresh brains to manage information on these social platforms. This is not a newspaper. Besides, most Nigerian editors need to step up. Check them out on Twitter…they’re practically dead. They are not even as good as some of the ‘illiterate’ bloggers who continually steal their shine.
To clarify the “mental age” issue:
Age is the greatest risk factor for cognitive impairment
