“I had the feeling Chief Oladeinde Fernandez would die” – Dele Momodu
Nigerian billionaire Chief Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez is dead. He was 79 when he passed on in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.
Before his passing, Fernandez was Diplomat and Permanent Representative of Central African Republic to the United Nations.
He was born in 1939. He was one of the richest persons to have come out of Africa. He was so rich he owned an Island, reports say.
Top media entrepreneur Dele Momodu sent Twitter into “condolence mood” after breaking the news on the micro-blogging website, Tuesday afternoon.
Momodu, who said he last spoke with Fernandez last Saturday, said he had “premonition” the billionaire was about to kick the bucket.
Momodu, who publishes Ovation International, did not reveal the content of their conversation that led to the said premonition.

“Eko Akete” is a salutation for Lagos State in Nigeria. Fernandez was Lagosian.
