Fayose’s stomach infrastructure continues, Ekiti people queue for birthday cake
Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose is a man who prides himself on being a ‘man of the people’, with his ‘stomach infrastructure’ scheme already popular among his supporters.
The man has done it again, this time in celebration of his birthday.
Fayose clocked 56 on Tuesday, November 15 and he celebrated it in style, as he took to the streets of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Thursday, to share cakes to the ever-hungry-ready citizens of his state. He also reportedly blessed hundreds of people’s ‘bank accounts’ by giving out a sum of two hundred naira (N200) each to the residents gathered at the celebration.
The ‘beneficiaries’ also received their gifts in style, as old and young queued honourably to have their share of what the controversial governor had to share.
It was Fayose’s way in showing love to his people, as he noted that he can’t sit in the government house and enjoy the comfort of the office without remembering the people.
Fayose, during Thursday’s ‘show of love’, revealed that he had received a lot of gifts comprising cakes, yam tubers, cows and bags of rice on his birthday, and decided to go give back to the people that put him in the government house, as he can’t finish all by himself.
