Fayose Wants FG To Increase Corpers Allowance
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has pleaded with the Federal Government to increase the 19,800 corper’s allowance to 50,000 naira in order to better the life of corpers.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the orientation 2017 for batch ‘A’ corpers, the commissioner representing the Governor, Mr Lanre Ogunsuyi said: the state government will provide all the necessary support for the Corps members to make their service year memorable in the state”.
Also speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary State Ministry of Information, Mr. kola Ajumobi encourages corpers in Ekiti State to feel free moving around the state without fear.
“Ekiti State is the most peaceful state in Nigeria, Corps members can tour the 16 local governments of the state any time they like, they are very safe”.
