Fayemi officially resigns as minister to participate in Ekiti poll

The office of the Minister of Mines and Steel Development is now vacant as Ekiti governorship aspirant, Kayode Fayemi resigns.
Fayemi’s letter of resignation which was submitted to the office of the president three weeks ago takes effect today, May 30.
He will contest the governorship election in Ekiti state on July 14 and outgoing governor Ayo Fayose has boasted his old adversary stands no chance.
A dramatic Fayose already said prayers for a successful administration for his deputy, Kolapo Olusola.
