Fake currencies, charms on display as Buhari commissions new EFCC office

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) N12bn office has been commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, in commemoration with the eight annual general meeting and conference for heads of anti-corruption agencies.

The president had earlier said his administration would not be deterred in its fight against corruption.

Various recoveries from corrupt individuals across Nigeria were displayed at the occasion.

Some of the items exhibited by the anti-graft agency include: fake currencies – both local and foreign – mostly used by fraudsters; amulets popularly known as juju by Africans, calabash, local herbs, ball racers and many others.
