Eunice Elisha: Wake keep holds for slain Abuja megaphone preacher
Wake keep for Eunice Elisha, the 42-year-old woman allegedly murdered while preaching in Abuja, is being held as we speak.
Eunice, who is survived by her pastor husband and seven children, will be buried tomorrow (Saturday, July 23).
Her wake keep is being held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), New Life Assembly, FHA Phase 3 Junction, Kubwa, Abuja.
The wake keep started by 4pm.
Eunice’s family attends RCCG where her husband Olawale Elisha is pastor.
Eunice’s cousin Apata Emmanuel who is at the venue told NewsroomNG Bring Back Our Girls campaigner Oby Ezekwesili visited the family about an hour before the wake keep began.
But Ezekwesili, who is also a member of RCCG, is not attending the wake keep, Apata said.
“We hope she would be able to make it to the final burial tomorrow,” Apata said.
RCCG leader Enoch Adeboye said the church will do whatever needed to be done to support the family..
