#EndSARS: police officer shoots commercial bus driver over N50 bribe
A commericial bus driver was allegedly shot dead in Oye Ekiti, Ekiti due to an argument that ensued between him and a police officer after the bus driver refused to give N50 bribe to some police officers at a road block
According to reports, the deceased who was coming into the state from Kwara state with some passengers, came across some police men at the roadblock they mounted at Ayegbaju-Ifaki road; the police officers were said to have demanded for N50 but the man refused to give; and sped off
The police man and his colleagues trailed the car until they caught up with him; they fired some shots, one of which hit the driver.
The car somersaulted causing most of the passengers to sustain various degrees of injuries.
The bus driver died on the spot
