#EndSARS: Police officer hits motorcycle rider with a baton, kills him instantly
A Twitter user has shared how a policeman hit his brother with a baton causing him to lose control of his bike, fall into a gutter and subsequently die.
We spoke till 12am this morning. He left for early morning hustle with his bike by 5am. He was stopped by @PoliceNG but it was late, he didn’t see them on time. The police man hit him with his baton and he lost control of his bike. Fell into a gutter and died.

The Inspector-General of Police (I-G), Ibrahim Idris, sometime ago warned personnel of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) against unprofessional conduct after an Amnesty International report indicted the squad of systematically torturing detainees in its custody as a means of extracting confessions and lucrative bribes.
The IG told the operatives to correct the erroneous impression about the unit.
“You have to correct this impression .This is a new beginning to give the nation a new anti-robbery squad.
