Elon Musk Set To Hit Record Trillionaire Status By 2027
Business mogul and C.E.O of X, Elon Musk, is on course to become the first trillionaire come 2027.
This is according to findings from Informa Connect Academy, a group that tracks wealth.
Musk owns electric carmaker, Tesla, private rocket company, SpaceX and social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter).
The group says it arrived at their conclusion owing to the fact that Musk’s wealth has been growing at an average annual rate of about 110%.
As per Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk was also the world’s richest person in the world, with a net worth of $251bn.

The same report estimates that, by 2028, business conglomerate founder, Gautam Adani, of India would become the second to hit the trillionaire bracket.
His annual growth rate stands at 123%.
Also, Jensen Huang, the Chief Executive Officer of tech firm, Nvidia, as well as Indonesian energy and mining mogul, Prajogo Pangestu, could both become trillionaires by 2028 if their trajectories hold.
Furthermore, CEO of LVMH, Moët, Hennessy, and Louis Vuitton and current world’s third-richest person, Bernard Arnault, whose net worth stands at about $200bn, is likely to surpass a trillion dollars threshold in 2030 if projections hold.
CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, also falls in this category.
