Drunken gulps insecticide instead of water, dies in Lagos restaurant
Pandemonium broke out at a Chinese restaurant in Adeniran Ogunsanya street, Surulere, Lagos on Saturday, after an unidentified drunk man died inside the restaurant.
The deceased had reportedly attended a wedding ceremony in the area where he got drunk.
It was, however, gathered that he mistakenly took an insecticide left inside an empty bottle of water on his table.
The insecticide was said to have been left by a staff of the restaurant.
Unaware to the deceased, he took the insecticide left on his table instead of the table of water he ordered for.
Shortly after opening up to his friends that he took something he thought was water, he died while being rushed to the hospital.
