Our correspondent chatted him up at Dada Estate. Adebisi not only makes textile materials; also teaches others in the craft. But he said his destiny is to serve in the Nigerian Army.

“Something tells me I’m destined to serve Nigeria as a soldier man,” he said with casual seriousness.

“I want to fight against Boko Haram and Niger Delta militants and I want to deliver Nigeria. Yes, to deliver my country.”

Adebisi, who is unmarried, said he applied to join the military three times but was rejected “probably because I don’t know anyone at the top”.

“When I was in school, I applied twice but joined the Man O’ War after I was turned down. I also applied two years ago and wasn’t recruited.

“I want any Nigerian who can link me to the top to please do so. I want to serve my country in the army,” he said.
