Death Toll from Niger Tanker Explosion Climbs to 98
The death toll from Saturday’s tragic petrol tanker explosion in the Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State has risen to 98, with 69 others injured, according to an official update.
Abdullahi Baba-Arah, the director-general of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA), confirmed the updated casualty figures in a statement released on Monday.
