Daniel Adewuyi Tella – In Memory Of Those Killed Illegally By The Nigerian Police

Daniel Adewuyi, 27, and a graduate in Banking and Finance, was awaiting youth service when he was arrested on February 7, 2006 on his way home in Festac, Lagos. 

Adewuyi died in police custody and the police, in their usual claim, said the deceased sustained injuries all over his body when he jumped out of a moving police vehicle but his family said the police took the money he had for his youth service and might have tortured him to death in an attempt to get more.
