Dangerous Experiment: 16-year-old dies while trying out money ritual rites
Raimi Fatai was a student of a secondary school in Abeokuta, Ogun state until his untimely death some days after Valentine’s day 2016.
Reports have it that Fatai was part of a money ritual process with three of his colleagues from school.
One of them, whose father is an herbalist, reportedly got wind of the money making ritual from his father’s account and decided to give it a shot.
As part of the ritual, a liquid substance was administered.
“Fatai was said to have fallen ill and died two days after while another student is said to be fighting for dear life,” PM News reports.
The other two students have been arrested for interrogation, reports say, and might be up for expulsion from school.
Family sources say Fatai’s corpse, initially deposited in a morgue, has been buried.
The school principal and the Ogun State Police spokesman have also confirmed the incident..
