Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Buhari takes 7 as he defeats Atiku in Yobe
President Muhammadu Buhari has won his seventh state in the presidential election as he has defeated Atiku Abubakar in Yobe.
Buhari polled a total of 497,914 votes while Atiku Abubakar polled a total of 50,763 votes in the state.
The total number of registered voters in Yobe is 1,365,913 while the total number of accredited voters is 601,059.
The total number of votes cast is 586,137 while the total number of valid votes is 559,365.
A total of 26,772 votes were rejected.
Buhari has so far emerged winner in seven out of ten states (including the FCT) where results have been declared.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja. This is the tenth out of 36 states and the FCT to have been officially announced.
