Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Buhari also defeats Atiku in Osun
President Muhammadu Buhari has also defeated Atiku Abubakar in Osun State, having polled 347,674 votes on Saturday.
INEC has confirmed that Atiku polled 337,377 votes in the state.
A total of 1,680,498 people registered for their Permanent Voters Card in the state, but 1,266,587 PVCs were collected.
A total of 713,682 votes were valid, while 17,200 votes were invalid.
A total of 731,882 people voted. This is just over 50% of people that collected their PVCs.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja. This is the second out of 36 states to have been officially announced.
