Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Atiku defeats Buhari in Benue
Atiku Abubakar has marginally defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in the presidential poll in Benue State.
The PDP candidate polled a total of 356,817 votes to defeat Buhari who polled a total number of 347,668 votes.
The total number of registered voters in the state is 2,391,276 while the total number of accredited voters is 786,069.
The total number of votes cast is 763,872 while the total number of valid votes is 728,912. Rejected votes totalled 34,960 votes.
The victory in Benue makes it the 10th state Atiku has won out of 23 states (including the FCT) that have been announced so far. Buhari has won the other 13.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja.
