Child Rape: Man defiles 2-year-old daughter in Lagos
Police in Lagos have taken a man into custody over alleged rape of his two-year-old daughter.
Tests carried out reportedly revealed the girl had been sexually violated and her father, Peter Adeda has been fingered for committing the crime at their residence in Oyetayo Olafisoye Street, Westwood Estate, Badore, Ajah.
Police have transferred the case to the Gender section for further investigation.
Another alleged child molester, Abdullahi Garuba, is also facing charges for allegedly defiling two boys, age 13 and 11. The suspect is a security guard at Oshodi Isolo Local Government Secretariat.
Lagos police spokesperson Chike Oti said, “the children were questioned by their respective mums and they confessed that the suspect had been having anal sex with them.”
He added that the case has been reported at the Gender Section of the command.
