Chibok parents: “Buhari didn’t walk out on them” – Ezekwesili

Former education minister and Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group leader Obiageli Ezekwesili said President Muhammadu Buhari did not storm out of his meeting with Chibok parents.
The parents had marched on Aso Rock in Abuja demanding to speak with the president.
The president met with the 108 parents and told them what he’s said before: that he doesn’t know if their teenage girls are alive.
The schoolgirls were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists on April 14, 2014.
Buhari said he won’t claim triumph over the terrorists until the girls are home and safe. But the Nigerian army, which is rooting out Boko Haram in the northeast, already declared that victory.
The media were locked out of Buhari’s meeting with the Chibok parents. Sources say the president walked out on the devastated parents.
But Ezekwesili says those sources are lying. She however admits the parents were not satisfied by Buhari’s answers to their questions.
