Car bomb explodes in Somalia, kills government official

A car bomb, Thursday morning, went off in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital city.

The car which exploded in front of Waberi Police Station in the city reportedly belonged to a government intelligence officer identified as Col. Mohamad Abdullahi. Abdullahi was driving the car when it exploded.

Reports have it that a civilian also sustained injuries in the explosion.
