BREAKING: Panic as Ebola returns, 3 dead already
May 12, 2017
At least three persons have died from a fresh Ebola outbreak in northeast Democratic Republic of Congo, the World Health Organization (WHO) reveals.
WHO said on Friday that the virus has caused three deaths in the area since it broke out on April 22.
49 persons lost their lives in the last Ebola outbreak in the region in 2014.
The deadly disease broke out for the first time in Nigeria, when a Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer, flew into the country in July 2014.
In August, the doctor who treated Sawyer, Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, also died of Ebola disease.
