BREAKING: Former Taraba governor, Danbaba Suntai dies five years after ill-fated crash

Former Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai has succumbed to the injuries sustained in a helicopter crash in 2012.

Suntai died at a home in the United States, where he was undergoing rehabilitation for brain injuries he sustained during the crash.

The helicopter, which was piloted by the former governor, had crashed near the Yola Airport in Adamawa five years ago.
