The suspects were gunned down by SARS operatives.

At least two suspected kidnappers were reportedly killed by SARS operatives at the Aba area of Abia State on Easter Sunday.

Two other suspects were reportedly arrested with bullet wounds.

A witness said the gang had attempted to kidnap a couple on their way back from church service.

Everything happened just in front of me. It was a scary scene, the gun shots was something else. I couldn’t hold my breathe, it was like a war. Before we left d scene, the guy on shirt was still alive but his two legs was scattered with bullets. I watch them shoot the other guy dead,” she said.

“This wicked guys double crossed a couple coming back from church in their Infinity Jeep with their Toyota corolla, kidnapped them but luck ran out of them when the wife sighted some officers on patrol and raised alarm.

“The armed robbers released some gun shots and the officers replied and they started exchanging shots. They rescued the couple, killed one of the boys instantly and shot the other on his legs.

That town is not safe,” she said. “Their Governor should do something about the rate of crime in that Aba.”
