“Biafra pikin”: Nnamdi Kanu’s wife delivers baby boy
Incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has got a reason to laugh.
Uchechi, his beautiful wife, gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday.
It is believed Uchechi gave birth to the boy in the United Kingdom where she was staying with her husband before he got into the net of Nigerian authorities.
“With joy in our hearts and celebration of new arrival to IPOB family, our first lady, the wife of our eminent leader, Joshua Nnamdi Kanu, has delivered a healthy baby boy,” IPOB announced on Facebook after he boy landed on Planet Earth.
“Mother and child are in good health,” the statement said.
Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS), in a seeming show of disregard for a court order, has refused to grant Kanu bail.
Kanu is being prosecuted for allegedly sponsoring terrorism and belonging to an unlawful
group.
Kanu admitted to calling Nigeria a zoo and threatening to “kill everyone in the zoo” is Nigeria blocks Biafra from seceding.
There’s a video online in which Kanu is seen soliciting for “guns and bullets” to wage war on Nigeria.
Kanu also operated Biafra radio which reportedly broadcasts hate speeches to Nigerian Igbos, the people to whom he plans to deliver “the promise of a Biafra nation.”
Kanu may not get to meet his baby boy any time soon..
