Baptism turns awry as man drowns
And now he’s dead.
The unindentified man was swept into the sea during a baptism at Umdlotti beach on KwaZulu-Natal north coast, South Africa, Monday.
Although lifeguards successfully brought him back to the beach, they were not too lucky in resuscitating him.
He died on the scene despite their efforts, Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha said..
