A Nigerian sports journalist may have given the most cheeky yet scathingly true comment about the ongoing revelations of how government officials under President Goodluck Jonathan “looted” the treasury.
Solo Ajuziogu of TVC News posted the following on his Facebook wall, Saturday morning:
How could we have put these goats in charge of our collective yam?
To make matters worse we even gave them the knife. So, they had the knife and the yam of our common patrimony.
Chaaaaaiiiii! We must ‘degoatify’ Nigeria for the safety of our yams.
