We ginger ourselves and never let go.

Impossible? Undoable? Who said so?

The Naija DNA does not accept no.”

In celebration of Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day, leading Pay TV company, DStv Nigeria, has launched a new television commercial (TVC) which celebrates the resilience and never-say-die attitude of everyday Nigerians.

Unveiled on October 1, the TVC tagged “Our Moment: Naija No Dey Carry Last” speaks to the resilient spirit of Nigerians even when faced with the most difficult challenges.

From the young to the old, from dance to sports and fashion, the TVC showcases the beauty and rich culture that Nigeria is blessed with.

Speaking on this latest development, the Chief Executive Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe said, “DStv Nigeria remains committed to making major investments in Nigeria by contributing to the development and expansion of the broadcasting, entertainment and sports sector. As Nigeria celebrates 60 years, DStv Nigeria will like to reinforce this commitment to the Nigerian market by continuing to provide value to all our customers, and easy access to their favorite international and local content”.

Through the new ad, DStv Nigeria celebrates everyday Nigerians and the never-say-die attitude they bring to their daily life and everything they do.

Leading up to the premiere of the TVC, DStv Nigeria championed the hashtag #NaijaBestMoments which saw Nigerians on social media recount their proudest Nigerian moments.

Since it launched in 1993, DStv Nigeria has continuously showcased Nigeria in all her glory through its variety of content and platforms.

Through its Africa Magic Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba channels, DStv Nigeria not only ensures that a good number of the Nigerian populace consume content in their native languages, but also plays a vital role in preserving and showcasing these languages.

DStv Nigeria is a subsidiary of MultiChoice Nigeria which currently employs over 1000 Nigerians while indirectly supporting over 20,000 more jobs.
