Area boys swoop on dumpsite as N50m worth of drugs were being destroyed
More Nigerian youths are becoming drug addicts, youths are increasingly becoming addicted to assorted drugs.
It was like one was watching a movie on Tuesday as some hoodlums, aka area boys, stormed the Olusosun Dumpsite in Lagos, where security agents, led by the state Acting Commissioner of Police, Edgar Imohimi, destroyed several bags of drugs.
A large number of youth besieged the dumpsite where the drugs was been destroyed, the drug street value was estimated at N50m
The miscreants swooped on the drugs when the fire subsided and had wanted to get as many quantities as they could, but they were prevented from doing so by police operatives.
The gun-wielding operatives quickly repelled them and re-fuelled the fire.

The narcotics were recovered during police raids on the Oshodi, Akala, and Itire areas of Lagos state.
