Ambode fires LASEMA boss, names replacement

Tiamiyu Muyiwa Adesina has been named Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) after Michael Akindele was fired.

Here’s the statement from LASEMA:

“His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor of Lagos State has appointed Mr. Tiamiyu Muyiwa Adesina as the Acting General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), with effect from 14th September, 2016.

“This was stated in a letter dated 14th September, 2016, signed by the Head of Service, Public Service Office in the State, Mrs Olabowale Ademola.

“Mr. Tiamiyu Adesina a graduate of University of Ibadan and the University of Lagos replaced Mr. Michael Akindele. He started his career at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan in 1982 and later worked in various capacities in both the public and private sectors which includes the Lagos State Library Board, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPMN) and the National Theatre as the Asst. Chief Marketing Officer/Head of South-South Zone, Calabar before he retired in May 2016.”
