Aisha Buhari allegedly arrests aide for N2.5b fraud
An aide to Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has been arrested by the DSS for allegedly engaging in N2.5 billion fraud.
Aisha reportedly got Mr. Baba-Inna arrested for allegedly receiving huge donations from politicians, businessmen, and women on her behalf but refused to hand them over to her.
Reports say Aisha had reported the case to the police last Friday, but they were unable to find any reasonable sum at Baba-Inna’s home or bank account.
Police, according to Premium Times, say the Wife of the President must have been wrongly informed.
She was said to have asked the DSS to take over the matter.
The DSS and police spokespersons, Peter Afunanya and Jimoh Moshood, reportedly denied being aware of Mr Baba-Inna’s arrest.
The suspect’s wife, Mrs Hassana, however, reportedly confirmed his arrest and claimed she had not been able to speak with him.
