3 fleeing suspects related to Dino Melaye’s case rearrested
The sacked Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Ali Janga has announced that three out of the six suspects who escaped from police custody on Wednesday have been rearrested.
Two suspected political thugs had accused Senator Dino Melaye of giving them arms to cause unrest in the state.
Janga who announced that the suspects have been rearrested did not disclose their names.
He gave reasons that he’s not in a good position to disclose the names of the arrested suspects because he’s no longer in service.
“Yes, it is confirmed, but note that I am no longer the CP, I have been removed, so next time talk to the new CP, ” he said.
A source also confirmed that the suspects have been rearrested at an undisclosed location.
Two of the suspects were said to have sustained gunshots as they attempted to flee from the police.
