2023 Election: Will you be voting the same party you supported in 2019? (Video)
Nigeria’s 2023 election is a few weeks away, especially the presidential election which has been a three-horse race between Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
This was not the case in 2019 when the contest between Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling APC and Atiku.
The absence of the incumbent president from the ballot has opened up the contest with political analysts believing that the election might go to a rerun due to how tight it looks.
In 2019, Obi was the running mate to Atiku in the presidential election. This time, however, his move to the Labour party has drawn in massive support, some of whom either supported the PDP or APC in 2019.
We went to the street to ask Nigerians whether, in 2023, they will be supporting the same party they voted for in 2019. Here is what they said below:
