Zelensky congratulates Trump on Election victory
Republican candidate, Donald Trump has received a congratulations message from Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Trump declared himself winner even before the election process was over, after recording more electoral votes in swing states.
Zelensky currently in a war with Russia took out time to congratulate Trump on his Official X handle.
It will be interesting to see how Trump will address the Russian-Ukraine war
Recall that while speaking at a Republican presidential town hall hosted by CNN, when quizzed about the first thing he would do if he becomes president, Trump didn’t think twice before responding that he will end the Russian-Ukraine war in one day
While reports on many platforms suggest that Trump’s victory is detrimental to Ukraine as it relates to the war, one can only hope for the best approach from him.
Judging from his speech at the Republican town hall, he stated that he is not taking sides with any of the two waring countries.
According to him, “Ukrainians are dying, Russians are dying”, so there is no taking sides.
