Zamfara Mass Murder: Police arrest three “principal suspects”
The Nigeria Police Force have announced that three ‘principal suspects’ in connection with the Zamfara mass murder have been arrested.
The police, in a statement today signed by PRO Jimoh Moshood, gave the name of the suspects as: Halilu Garba (aka Mabushi), 45; Zubairu Marafa (aka Wakili), 45; and Nafi’u Badamasi (aka Zakiru), 40.

Last Wednesday, a group of bandits waylaid some locals at the Birani Village of Zurmi Local Government Area of the state and brutally murdered at least 36 persons.
President Buhari had reacted to the killings and ordered Inspector General of Police to visit the community.
The police said the arrested suspects are assisting in investigation into the crime and would be arraigned in court thereafter.
