You’re fired! Kogi house sacks speaker, deputy and Minority Leader

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Momoh Jimoh-Lawal, has been impeached, reports say.
His deputy, Aliyu Akuh and Minority leader, Hassan Bello, also got the axe.
Godwin Osiyi Ojo representing Ogori-magongo constituency has been elected the new speaker while John Abah of Ibaji Constituency was elected deputy speaker.
NewsroomNG learnt that the speaker was impeached by a motion moved, Thursday, on the floor of the House by Ukubile Ochijenu and seconded by Zakari Mohammed.
17 out of 25 members of the house supported the move..
