"We won't quit," Segun Adewale reacts to Lagos West Senatorial election tribunal defeat

The Lagos State National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal, Friday, dismissed the case of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate in the March 28, 2015 Lagos West Senatorial District election, Segun Adewale.
Adewale wanted the court to nullify the declaration of the All Progressive Congress’ candidate (APC), Olamilekan Adeola, as the winner of the said election.
Here is how Adewale reacted to his failure at the tribunal.
Earlier today, the tribunal ruled against our case on technical ground of not having enough witnesses to support our evidences at the tribunal.
This is not how we hoped things would turn out but I have a strong belief in the judicial process, and that is why we will never resort to violence.
I would like to appreciate my family, friends, supporters, well wishers as well as the media for all your support and prayers right from the primaries to the main elections and through the tribunal process.
The court decision is another proof that the walk to freedom is no task for the faint hearted. We have no intention to quit, not when we have the good people of Lagos West Senatorial District on our side.
I would never sacrifice our independence on the altar of any party or individual imposition. We shall go back to our drawing board to restategize ways to reclaim Lagos from the hands of the cabals who have decided to hold Lagosians to slavery.
I am thankful you never gave up on us. I urge you to remain calm as this is merely a phase in our struggle to grab our freedom from the hands of Lagos’ seemingly mighty, yet anti-people, cabal.
It’s indeed a long walk to freedom, and we are determined to never stop until we bask in its embrace.
I want to assure everyone that we would continue to represent the interest of our people in our little capacity. We will never give up. We will never resort to violence.
