“Being homeless is my business,” the man told CNN affiliate WDIV.

Abe Hagenston is a panhandler who has been on the streets of Detroit for 10 years. His street name is “Honest Abe”.

But he is not just a regular panhandler. This one has gone digital.

He isn’t the average homeless panhandler. Not only does he take credit cards, he has a website too, WDIV reports.

Through his website, which he set up and updates from the public library, he offers to take on odd jobs in return for cash.

“I’ve done some painting,” Hangenston said. “I’ve taken some other guys out on team jobs where I needed a couple extra guys to carry some things.”

He also plans to develop an app that would weed out fake panhandlers and a non-profit to benefit homeless people.

“I’ve rebuilt my life a few times but this time I’m not getting it,” Hangenston said. “People don’t realize how tough it is to come from nothing when you don’t have any family or any friends.”

“I’m trying to turn this situation into something that will not only help me but help others,” Hangenston said..
