Woman stabs boyfriend to death for adding girls on Facebook

In his lifetime, Damon Searson seemed addicted to social media website Facebook. That didn’t go well with Terri-Marie Palmer, his jealous killer girlfriend.

The couple met at the lady’s hairdressing salon where Searson had gone for a haircut. They moved in together in July 2015 with Palmer paying the bills as Searson had no job.

The 24-year-old Searson’s habit of posting his topless pictures to Facebook and sending friend requests to female users angered Palmer, 23. So she killed him with a breadknife, a court in the United Kingdom has ruled.

After stabbing Searson after midnight on August 13, 2015, the lady called the authorities and told them Searson accidentally stabbed himself “while we were playing around.”

She later gave different accounts of the incident to the police. One of them was that the couple was playing together and Searson asked her to throw him the knife.

She said she threw it at him but “I didn’t mean for it to get him. It’s a carving knife. We literally only got it today. It’s really fucking sharp.”

But investigators unearthed how Palmer messaged a friend on Facebook threatening to kill Searson because he’s “pissing me off sitting on Facebook, completely blanking me when I’m talking to him”.

It was after sending that message that Palmer stabbed Searson in the heart.

She had threatened the late Searson in earlier messages. One of them reads:

Crying myself to sleep for the second time this week and it’s only Wednesday. Thanks Damon. I’m so angry and hurt I honestly want to fucking stab you.

In another Facebook post, Palmer lamented: “All he does is sits there and adds loads of girls. He’s a fucking little prick. I’m fuming with him.”

The stabbing happened inside the caravan they shared in Heysham, Lancashire.

Preston Crown Court, last week, convicted Palmer of murder after hearing all the sides. She was sentenced to life in prison, and will serve a minimum of 12 years before she is eligible for parole..
