Woman cuts off brother-in-law’s penis, presents it as evidence he raped her
Policemen is the Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh, central India, were baffled, when a woman walked into their station with a severed penis on Thursday morning.
The 32-year-old woman had chopped off the genitals of her brother-in-law who she claimed had been raping her for days.
When he forced himself on me, I faked consent and severed his privates with a sickle, she told police.
By the time police got to the man’s house, he had committed suicide.
His body was found hanging from a tree near their house.
The woman was living with her brother-in-law because her husband works in another district about 700 miles away.
Police are investigating the incident.
“This is a rare case and has to be investigated for a proper charge sheet,” a police spokesman said..
