Wicked! Two brothers behead sibling for “manipulating their destinies”
Police in Akwa Ibom have arrested two brothers for allegedly beheading their brother whom they accused of making them languish in poverty.
The brothers, Akaninyene and Ime Enyeokpon, accused Friday Enyeokpon of manipulating their destinies.
Police said they waylaid Friday while he was out in the bush to check his traps.
He was beheaded and buried, allegedly by his blood brothers.
The state Commissioner of Police, Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi, said that the suspects have confessed to the crime.
“The deceased’s head was exhumed and deposited in the mortuary and two machetes used by the suspects in the murder of the deceased were recovered,” the police boss said.
