WATCH: Young boy caught with female underwear in Osun
A young boy was caught with female underwear in Mayfair, Ile-Ife area of Osun State Friday evening.
The boy, according to a witness, claimed he was sent by someone from Sabo area of the state.
Police reportedly arrived to rescue him from the angry mob.
Several cases of underwear theft for alleged ritual purposes have been recorded in the past months, but police has said it can’t investigate “things that are not empirically verifiable except when there is convergence of the act like cases of murder or an attempt or related crimes”.
“We don’t investigate divinations or morality except related acts that constitute a criminal offence,” Force spokesman Frank Mba said days ago.
