WATCH: “N20,000 is small, I would have charged N50,000” – Bribe-seeking policeman tells victims
A bribe seeking policeman was caught on camera demanding N20,000 sum from his victims.
The officer, according to the victim, said he would have demanded N50,000 sum if he was still attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).
“He held us for over 2hours,” the victim said.
Though it is still unclear what offence the victims committed, police officers are not meant to extort citizens when enforcing the law.
