Many Lagos residents seized the opportunity of the annual Black Friday to get reasonable discounts on household items at the Shoprite mall, Ikeja.
A customer who joined in the shopping rush told Neusroom she was able to save N4,000 after buying N77,000 worth of items.
The shopping holiday comes at a perfect time for many, as prices of food items in the market have gone up just as the Christmas celebration approaches.
The Federal Government continues to haggle with the Labour union over N30,000 minimum wage for workers in the country.
