WATCH: Lagos Island residents catch suspected thief who terrorized victims with cutlass
An alleged thief, who gave his name as Ibrahim Ganiu, was nabbed by residents of a Lagos Island community early Tuesday morning.
The boy and his gang allegedly attacked some residents with cutlass, dispossessing them of three phones.
Ganiu, who claimed to be a fashion designing apprentice, told the residents that he worked with one Igba Oro, who is at large.
The gang, according to the residents, were notoriously known for snatching bags and robbing residents in the area.
